PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing surface flaw on a cast slab, and the cast slab on which the surface flaw can be prevented. SOLUTION: Among pinch rolls disposed in a continuous casting line for producing the cast slab, at least one or more rolls on the side coming in contact with the lower surface when hot-rolling is performed, are formed with the roll diameter in the center part increased and the center part in the width direction at the lower surface side of the cast slab is recessed along the rolling direction after passing through the pinch rolls.
