PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively low cost die for extruding a Zn containing aluminium alloy capable of intending to make the life of the die made of steel longer. SOLUTION: An alloy film with resistance to brittlement by Zn of a Co based alloy, a Ni based alloy, a Cr based alloy or others is formed on the needed area of a die surface made of steel, and a diffusing layer of 2ηm or more thickness is formed between the above alloy film and a matrix steel.
