PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timber fixing material for a slope face protective work for holding harmonization with a natural scenery while effectively utilizing forestry resources by fixing and laying tapering-off thinning timber in a sheet shape to and on a wall surface in a face of a banked slope by banking. SOLUTION: By opposing a pair of left and right timber engaging pieces 2 and 3, a timber inserting space 5 is formed between both. A plurality of horizontal directional reinforcements 21 and 31 and a plurality of vertical directional reinforcements 22 and 32 are fixed in a grating shape as the respective timber engaging pieces 2 and 3. Hook parts 21a and 31a are formed on one end of the respective horizontal directional reinforcements 21 and 31. The material having a structure of bending the whole horizontal directional reinforcements in an L shape is adopted. When horizontally inserting and stacking the required number of thinning materials in the timber inserting space 5, the respective thinning timber are laid on the wall surface in a state of engaging both ends with the timber engaging pieces 2 and 3.
