The blind unit includes winding rollers (24) for winding up draw cords (37) for gathering up the blind, and turning rollers (26) with inclined flanks (30) to adjust the incline. Underneath the turning rollers are coupling band guides (18, 48, 50) which divert the two ends (36) of the coupling bands (34) into a plane perpendicular to the hanging plane and extending through the adjoining draw cord (37). The coupling band guides can be formed between a turning bearing housing (12, 16) and an insert element (18) which can be inserted across the direction of movement of the coupling bands into a guide in the housing.
