DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING ANIMATION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL

PURPOSE: A device and a method for displaying an animation in a mobile communication terminal are provided to store image frames composed in the animation about a menu or an event provided from the mobile communication terminal in a state capable of being displayed on an LCD, overlap the image frames according to a morphing process, and display the animation on the LCD. CONSTITUTION: A frame memory unit(31) stores image frames composed in an animation about a specific menu or event according to menus and events. An LCD driver(32) overlaps the image frame data composed in the animation, and displays the animation on an LCD. A CPU(33) controls the morphing process for reading the image frame data from the frame memory unit(31) and transmitting the read image frame data to the LCD driver(32). The CPU(33) controls the morphing process for overlapping the image frame data and displaying the animation on the LCD in the LCD driver(32).
