摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a carbon material for an electrode which is industrially useful, capable of stably and efficiently manufacturing a carbon material for an electrode of high resistance against an electrolyte, with high strength when used as an electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a carbon material for an electrode where a carbide of organic compound sticks to the surface of graphitic carbonaceous material includes a process where the graphitic carbonaceous material is mixed with organic compound, a process where the resultant mixture of graphitic carbonaceous material and organic compound is heated to carbonize the organic compound, a second mixing process where the resultant composite carbonaceous material is mixed with the organic compound, and a second carbonizing process where the mixture resulting from the second mixing process is heated to carbonize the organic compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
