<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system using an account of an Internet bank for settling a transaction price without carrying about cash. <P>SOLUTION: This settlement system is composed of an Internet bank device 20 having an account database 28 for storing ID, a password, a cellular phone number and an account number of an account opener, a ledger database 29 for storing receipt-payment of respective accounts, an authentication processing part 24 for generating settlement authentication data including the account number on the basis of information on the account database by the ID, the password and a settlement authentication data issue request signal transmitted from a cellular phone 40 and a transmission-reception processing part 22 for transmitting the settlement authentication data to the cellular phone and a store terminal (POS) 30 for reading the settlement authentication data received by the cellular phone 40. The settlement authentication data received by the cellular phone 40 is read by the store terminal (POS), and is transmitted to the Internet bank device 20.
