<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation server capable of easily acquiring detailed information on the subject of advertisement; an operational system; and a method of operating advertisements. <P>SOLUTION: A distribution server receives advertisement identification information transmitted from a portable terminal and based upon visual information posted in a station yard or a vehicle. The server then extracts advertisement information corresponding to the received advertisement identification information from a storage part and transmits it to the portable terminal.
