<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring method for optical networks which eliminates the need of construction in a closure, which requires work at elevated spots, and construction of an overhead drop cable from the closure to a termination box even in the case of change of a non-subscriber to a new subscriber and contributes to considerable cost reduction and to reduction of a construction period. <P>SOLUTION: In closures CL1 and CL2, an optical cable of a branch line connecting to a node ND1 is cut, and the optical cable of the branch line connecting to the node is connected to overhead drop cables D1 to D10 and D11 to D20. In a termination box 17, one end of a one-fiber optical cable is connected to a rosette provided in a subscriber's home requesting connection through a conduit, and the other end of the one-fiber optical cable is connected to an overhead drop cable from closures, and the number of overhead drop cables from closures, which corresponds to the number of rosettes provided in non-subscribers' homes which dont't request connection are stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
