PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stable operation at the time of an abrupt load change in an electric vehicle that tows an object to be towed. SOLUTION: A control method for the electric vehicle that tows the object to be towed is characterized in that output torque is once lowered when abrupt speed change of the vehicle is detected, and output torque when the vehicle tows again the object to be towed is made smaller than the former torque.
