PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera in which images are reproduced in a desired reproduction order in a state intended by a user, namely, while linking sounds and images. SOLUTION: The electronic camera has a recording means for recording image information which is processed by an image pickup processing means to an information recording medium as an image file after adding additional information corresponding to the image information thereto. In the recording means, a sound file having sound information is made recordable, and further, a control file having reproduction order information designating the reproduction order of image information and association information specifying association between the sound file and the image file is made recordable on the information recording medium.
