PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify registered photography information and a photographic frame number without loading a burden of file name creation to a user in an electronic image pickup device which performs recording or reproducing in a directory structure. SOLUTION: A file name associated with image information is registered on a recording medium as a file name of image information corresponding to the photographic frame number and when reproducing image information, a part of a file name indicating the image information is displayed in figures. At least a part of a directory name of a directory to register the image information is displayed in figures, and at least a part of the directory name and at least a part of the file name are displayed side by side via a connection symbol.
