PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce assembling man-hour in a simple constitution, to stabilize a function, to eliminate water accumulation in a valve, and to eliminate expansion destruction caused by dirt of flowing water or freezing in a winter season. SOLUTION: This three-way selector valve comprises a ball valve element 10 made of elastic body material, a valve case 20 for storing the ball valve element 10, and an inlet 151 and two outlets 152 and 153 formed in the valve case 20. The ball valve element 10 has an inflow passage 11 and an outflow passage 12 that have circular cross section and merge near a central part. The inflow passage 11 is always connected to the inlet 151, and the outflow passage 12 is disposed to connect to two outlets 152 and 153 alternatively. In the ball valve element 10, a drain hole 14 communicating with the inflow passage 11 and the outflow passage 12 through the central part is formed orthogonally to both passages 11 and 12. The opposite position to the outlet of the outflow passage 12 in the ball valve element 10 is formed as a planar flat section 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
