PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating agent which can form a cured coating whose surface becomes hydrophilic after exposed to outdoors for a certain period and develops stain resistance that any contaminants adhered to the surface of the coating can be easily washed with rain water to maintain cleanness, and which is particularly suitable as a coating for outdoor structure exterior material. SOLUTION: The stain resistant resin coating agent comprises (I) a silicone resin represented by the average compositional formula (1): R<SP>1</SP><SB>a</SB>R<SP>2</SP><SB>b</SB>X<SB>c</SB>(OH)<SB>d</SB>SiO<SB>(4-a-b-c-d)/2</SB>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>independently denotes a non-substituted or substituted 1-18C monovalent hydrocarbon group; R<SP>2</SP>independently denotes a 2-10C monovalent hydrocarbon group having at least one non-aromatic unsaturated bond; X denotes a hydrolyzable group; a, b, c and d are each 0 or a positive number that satisfies the condition of the range: 0≤a≤1.68, 0.3≤b≤1.98, 0.3≤a+b≤1.98, 0≤c≤2.7, 0≤d≤2.7, 0.001≤c+d≤2.7 and 0.301≤a+b+c+d<4) and (II) a condensation reaction curing catalyst.
