PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester including a pair of left and right foot joining conveying chains 33L and 33R functioning to nip and convey the feet of left and right reaped grain culms respectively so as to ensure reaped grain culms to be unclogged at a joining part X2 easily and in good workability. SOLUTION: The combine harvester includes a sliding shaft 91 and a position-keeping mechanism 93. In this combine harvester, the sliding shaft 91 to support rotary wheels 87 and 88 windingly supporting the terminal end of the joining conveying chain 33L of the pair of the right and left joining conveying chains 33L and 33R, on a conveying frame 90 so as to be freely moved backward and forward to the other chain 33R, and the position-keeping mechanism 93 to keep the rotary wheels 87 and 88 at proximal positions through restricting the movement of the sliding shaft 91 in the backward and forward direction by inserting a pin 95 provided at the conveying frame 90 side into a groove 94 provided on the slide shaft 91 in the direction rectangular to the backward and forward direction.
