PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a driving device of a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: When a driving is conducted by selecting an APT, destination to be connected for V<SB>r</SB>wiring 24 and -V<SB>r</SB>wiring 26 is switched in accordance with input signals (SHARE). During a selection interval starting, the wiring 24 and a V<SB>r</SB>capacitor 32 are connected and electric charges are supplied to scanning electrodes from the capacitor 32. Then, the wiring 24 and an output terminal 27 of a voltage V<SB>r</SB>are connected and the potential of a selected row is set to V<SB>r</SB>. At the completion of the selection interval, the wiring 24 and the capacitor 32 are connected again, so as to accumulate electric charges, that are shifted from the selected row, in the capacitor 32.
