PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature and a motor in which arranging state of a winding is prevented from being collapsed when the winding is wound at multiple times around teeth with tension applied so that the winding can be wound in a state of being regularly arranged on the teeth. SOLUTION: The armature 10 is configured by containing an armature core 11 composed by radially forming a plurality of projecting teeth 13 on a core body 12 constituting an annular body and the winding 14 wound around the teeth 13. In the teeth 13, a winding part 13a in which the winding 14 can be wound is formed. The winding part 13a is formed in a tapered shape so as to vary width or thickness along the central axial line Lc in the longitudinal direction of the teeth 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
