PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving apparatus with a recorder control function in which atmospheres of a plurality of programs desired to view are confirmed when there are the plurality of programs desired to view. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiving apparatus 30 with the recorder control function accepts recording reservations of a plurality of programs on an EPG picture or the like regardless of overlapping of program broadcasting hours. Then, a tuner 2 or the like is controlled to receive the plurality of programs programmed to be recorded sequentially within the broadcasting hours, and a part of each program is recorded by a recorder (such as incorporated hard disk drive 6, digital external recorder 31 or analog external recorder 32).
