PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate a caller being the origin of an incoming call even when identical incoming melodies are assigned to a plurality of callers. SOLUTION: This portable terminal equipment is provided with registering means(106, 100) for registering musical piece data for an incoming melody, a storage means (105) for storing the musical data for an incoming melody registered by the registering means, a musical piece reproducing means (116) for reproducing the musical piece, an emission display part (110), a vibrator (108), and a control means (100) for reading the musical piece data for the incoming melody from the storage means at the time of receiving an incoming call, and for driving the musical piece reproducing means based on musical piece sequence data among the musical piece data for the incoming melody to reproduce the musical piece, and for driving either the emission display part or the vibrator while being interlocked with the reproduction of the musical piece based on interlocking pattern data included in the musical piece data for the incoming melody.
