PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a ventilation fan to a box, such as an electrical or electronic equipment housing box, in which the fan is mounted without working a mounting hole for mounting the fan to the box. SOLUTION: A mounting metal 3 is mounted in a heat-radiating hole 2, selected arbitrarily from among a large number of slit-like heat-radiating holes 2 arranged on a box 1 to mount a fan 7 on the mounting metal 3.
