PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and simply register layout information of a slip by reading out slip information from the slip, referring to a DB, and when the layout information is not registered, displaying a slip image of a similar slip, different information and the original slip image in the DB in respect to layout information registration system, program and method for correcting the layout information of the slip and registering the corrected layout information. SOLUTION: The layout information registration system is provided with a means for displaying a slip image of a similar slip, a read slip image and similar information when a slip corresponding to the slip image read from the slip by a scanner is not registered in a database and the similar slip is registered, a means for correcting the layout information of a corresponding position in the slip image and a means for registering the corrected layout information and the slip data in the database based on the displayed similar information.
