PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper reversing device, and an image forming device, capable of greatly reducing paper jam, even when sheet type elastic members are used. SOLUTION: This device comprises a paper reversing passage 52 to which a paper sheet to switch back is fed, branch passages 53 and 54 branched in the middle of the paper reversing passage 52, pairs of reversing rollers 38 and 39 provided in the paper reversing passage on the downstream side of a branch passage branched position, and sheet type elastic member 40 and 41 having free ends on one side, and provided at paper branching parts. The sheet type elastic members 40 and 41 are parted into a plurality of elastic pieces 43, 44 and 45 at least on the free end side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
