PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the residual strain; and to increase the operation efficiency. SOLUTION: This foamed polyolefin resin heat insulating material is made by forming a plurality of linear recessed crimp-pattern portions in the tube length direction of the inner surface side and/or the outer surface side. Accordingly, a long roll type heat insulating compound tube can be manufactured at low cost. Since the shrinkage factor of the highly foamed heat insulating tube is sharply reduced, coating material repair works in the piping site for resin tube exposed portions can be reduced. The heat insulating sizes (foaming magnification, thickness, etc.) and the color phase can be easily changed, and the set-up time and the set-up loss can be reduced. Since a heat insulating sheet with high foaming magnification can be used as the heat insulating sheet, energy can be saved, and since a polyolefin material is used, the product is environmental-friendly.
