PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower capable of reducing the weight thereof without increasing the numbers of press steps and drawing steps, realizing the stable fixing of a fan cover without increasing vibration, and leading exhaust air from a blowing part into a bracket without leaking to the outside. SOLUTION: A frame 10 comprises, at the outer peripheral part 17a thereof holding the fan cover 4, a bent part 19a bent generally in a right angle relative to a flat plate part 18 and extending in a generally axial direction. A stator 7 winding part incorporated in the frame is open at the end thereof and extends from a housing part 16 to both sides. The bracket 11 comprises, at the open end of a drum part 23, a generally flat plate-shaped flange part 26a projected in the outer peripheral direction at a generally right angle relative to a shaft 25.
