PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door which can be smoothly opened and closed even if there are more or less irregularities in the ground side. SOLUTION: The sliding door includes a hinge structural body 3 or a door body 5 placed in the longitudinal direction in a movable manner and the door body 5 placed in the longitudinal direction on one side in front and behind of the hinge structural body 3 or the door body 5, the hinge structural body 3 or the former door body 5 and the latter door body 5 are connected to each other in the longitudinal direction in a relatively movable manner through a pair of up and down guide grooves 6 and 7 in the right and left directions and a pair of up and down guide rollers 8 and 9 provided on one end side in the longitudinal direction on the other side and engaged with the guide grooves 6 and 7, a vertically movable and mobile roller is included in part of a pair of up and down guide rollers 8 and 9 so as to allow up and down motion on the end side of a stopper of the door body 5, and a wheel 12 traveling on the ground side is provided to the end side of the stopper of the door body 5.
