PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal position correcting jig for a column steel frame operatable by smaller force. SOLUTION: The jig includes a body (20). The body includes a space (30) wherein at least a part of erection pieces (16 and 18) of both column steel frames can be accepted and a pair of slits (31) respectively opened to both sides of one erection piece, and relative displacement is possible in the horizontal direction toward the side to one erection piece. The jig extended to the inside of the space (30) through each slit of the body includes a wedge member (26) capable of being abutted on the side of one erection piece and the end of the slit, a pair of male screw members (22) respectively supported on the body in a slightly movable manner, a pair of female screw members (24) respectively mounted on both wedge members in a slightly movable manner and engaged with both male screw members and a fixed means (28) for fixing the other erection piece to the body.
