PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new reversed-phase emulsion of a new polymer which is still more resistant (stable) to existence of a salt. SOLUTION: The self-reversible reversed-phase micro latex composition contains an oil phase, a water phase, at least one kind of water-in-oil type surfactant, at least one kind of oil-in-water type surfactant, and a branched or crosslinked polymer electrolyte, wherein the polymer electrolyte comprises a homopolymer or copolymer containing strong acid functional groups or weak acid functional groups, and a mixture of the water-in-oil type surfactant and the oil-in-water type surfactant has a prescribed total HLB.
