PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record medium ejector which can maintain the high recording precision by reducing or preventing damaging to a recording face of the record medium and by preventing floating of the record medium, and a recorder with the record medium ejector. SOLUTION: A swing member 170 for supporting the record medium from below is arranged at the lower side in a transfer direction of the record medium. The function by conventional two rows of notched rollers can be achieved by a combination of the swing member and one row of notched rollers. The notched rollers can be arranged more adjacent to a recording means side than heretofore. Damaging to the recording face of the record medium is reduced and floating of the record medium is prevented, so that the high recording precision can be maintained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
