The housing cover (32) is provided on its outside with 2 plug/socket sections for connection of the motor current and signal lines and on its inside with a holder (42) for at least one electrical or electronic component, e.g. a relay (44), both formed integral with the injection moulded housing cover. A hollow space between the housing cover and the motor housing (30) forms a peripheral channel filled with an elastic sealing material acting as a seal. An Independent claim for a DC electric motor is also included.
