<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing job interruption noticing method for allowing a user to smoothly execute processing during the interruption of an image processing job by changing or adding the transmission destination of an electronic mail according to the cause for interruption. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for noticing the interruption of an image processing job for noticing the generation of the interruption of an image processing job from an image processor connected to a network, a user code indicating a designated user is inputted at the time of instructing the image processing job (a step S1), and when the instructed image processing job is interrupted due to the interruption disturbing the execution of the image processing job (a step S5: YES), an electronic mail to notice the interruption to a mail address corresponding to the user code is transmitted (a step S6), and an electronic mail to notice the interruption to a relational mail address related with the cause for the interruption is transmitted (steps S7 to S10). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
