<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link mechanism for a ceiling board hanging rod, which contributes to drastic reduction in production cost, has high linking strength, and facilitates assembly and adjustment thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The link mechanism functions to link the long ceiling board hanging rods 1, 1 together, which rods are each formed of a main plate 4 and an engaging end 3 formed at a lower edge of the main plate 4 to hold an edge of a ceiling board p. In the ceiling board hanging rod 1, the main plate 4 has a notch 11 formed at an end thereof, and a fitting hole 13 formed at a location in the vicinity of the notch 11 and closer to the inside of the main plate 4. The link mechanism is comprised of a link member 20 which has two pinching pieces 21, 21 and engaging protrusions 23. Each pinching piece 21 is cut and raised from a main surface f of the link member 20 in parallel with the same, and the main plate portion 4 is inserted in a gap between the main surface f and each pinching piece 21. Each engaging protrusion 23 is protruded from the pinching piece 21 toward the main surface f to be closely fitted into the fitting hole 13 formed in the main plate 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
