<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for simulation of printing inspections, which can properly estimate a required time for the printing inspections for being carried out in diverse inspection forms. <P>SOLUTION: In the simulation of the printing inspections for performing a simulation operation for estimating the required time for carrying out the printing inspections before the execution of the printing inspections for inspecting the printed state of a cream solder, element shape/position data, which represent the shape and position of an element printing part for being printed on an electrode for joining an electronic component, provided on a circuit forming surface of a substrate, are divided into respective imaging fields for the inspections; and inspection data with priorities, which are created by setting the priorities according to inspection priority conditions, are prestored. The simulation operation for cumulatively adding the required time in each of the imaging fields is performed according to the inspection data with the priorities and operating time data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
