<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve facilities that a plurality of autonomies provide together at a time and to eliminate the need to modify the constitution of an existent facility reservation system. <P>SOLUTION: A wide-area facility retrieval system is provided with a terminal device of a user who desires to use facilities, a facility information database which is connected to the facility reservation system of a providing institution providing facilities through a communication network and where information on the facilities to be provided is recorded while being made to correspond to identification information on the providing institution, a means of displaying a retrieval condition input picture plane on the terminal device of the user, a means of receiving retrieval conditions inputted to the input picture plane, a retrieving means of retrieving information on facilities meeting the conditions from the facility information database, a means of displaying facility information retrieved by the retrieving means on the terminal device of the user, a means of specifying a plurality of providing institutions as retrieval conditions for retrieval and a means of accessing reservation systems of providing institutions managing the facilities displayed as retrieval results to obtain reservation availability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
