<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make joint parts inconspicuous while securing widths of light shielding parts in joint parts in a certain degree in a liquid crystal display device using a large-sized liquid crystal panel obtained by joining a plurality of liquid crystal panels together. <P>SOLUTION: Since adjacent pixel arrays X1, X2 to X640 (n=640) in each liquid crystal panel 11 are close to each other to form pixel array groups X'a, X'2 to X'320 (i=320), widths of light shielding parts 13 in joint parts can be secured when respective liquid crystal panels 11 are joined together. Consequently, joint parts are made inconspicuous while reserving enough space for application of a sealant or the like in vicinities of connection side faces 11'x. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
