LAMINATOR FOR SUBSTRATE AND LAMINATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminator for a substrate and a laminating method wherein a film or part of the film does not intrude or fills in alignment marks formed on the substrate in a recessed form or a in a form of a through-hole for an optical reader for its accurate reading.

SOLUTION: In the substrate laminator 10 wherein the film 20 is placed to one side or both sides of the substrate 30 on which the alignment marks 15 in a form of through-holes and/or recessed parts are formed, and pressing rollers 11 press the film 20 to laminate the film 20 onto one side or both the sides of the substrate 30, a reduced diametrical part 13 is formed on each of the pressing rollers 11 so that the part of the film 20 covering openings 15a of the through-holes or the recessed parts as the alignment marks 15 is not substantially pressed.
