PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety fence for an infant with excellent operability and with a reduced arrangement space. SOLUTION: The safety fence includes: a frame body which has an opening in a middle part, and is locked to a fixing object such as a pillar whose both sides are opposed each other; and a door body whose one side part is freely rotatably supported by one opening side edge of the frame body, and which is freely removably supported by a lock means arranged between the other side part and the other opening side edge of the frame body. A sufficient gap to insert a leg is formed in a part between the other side part of the door body and the other opening side edge of the frame body. Besides, a pedal to be vertically moved in the gap is arranged in the lower part of the other opening side edge, and then, the lock of the lock means is released by the pedal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
