PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an image forming rewritable visual information on demand, using an electrophotographic method. SOLUTION: The image is formed in the electrophotographic method, by using toner containing a reversible color fixing agent and a developer. The reversible color fixing agent is used properly by a method of writing and erasing (rewriting) of visual information, without damaging the fixing and releasing properties of the toner or without being particularly limited if sufficient reversible color fixing property of the image is attained. For instance, the visual information is written in a rectangular solid image, which is formed in the electrophotographic process, by using the developer containing the reversible color fixing agent generally performing temperature changes, the difference in a change speed or the like of temperature, turbidity change due to a magnetic field, an electric field or the like, discoloration, color fixing, fading or the like. Rewriting of the visual information heats and cools the solid image, applies magnetic field and electric field, and forms and erases information, such as characters and letters in the solid image.
