PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke which does not distort spots of electron beams at a screen corner part. SOLUTION: With the deflection yoke having a pair of horizontal deflection coils 1-a and a pair of vertical deflection coils 2, a rear end of the vertical deflection coil 2 is made longer than a rear end of the horizontal deflection coil 1-a at an electron gun side, and the vertical deflection coil 2 of a part extended toward the electron gun side from the rear end of the horizontal deflection coil is made narrower in diameter than a part overlapping with the horizontal deflection coil 1-a. Further, a vertical deflection field is set inside a cathode-ray tube located at an inner side of the vertical deflection coil 2 extended toward the electron gun side from the rear end of the horizontal deflection coil, with a pair of magnetic pieces forming a pincussion field set inside.
