PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate microwave radiation having asymmetrical directivity with respect to the tube axis of a waveguide by devising the structure of an opening part to resultantly equalize a heating distribution in a heating chamber when the tube axis does not coincide with the center line of a wall surface of the heating chamber. SOLUTION: Since the opening part 5 is formed only on an E-surface on one side when viewed from the tube axis 10 of the waveguide, directivity toward the side having the opening 5 can be enhanced in relation to the directivity of the microwaves radiated in the heating chamber 3 from the opening part 5. In particular, when a linear heating element 13 is disposed at the center of the heating chamber, the microwaves having strong directivity toward the heating element can be radiated because the waveguide 2 is disposed on the same wall surface so as to be nearly parallel with the heating element 13, and the opening part 5 is formed only on the heating element 13 side when viewed from the tube axis 10.
