PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint capable of suitably securing a sealing property. SOLUTION: A circular groove 36 corresponding to the shape of a pointed head of an outer raceway 11 is formed on an end of a boot 30 which is mounted on the pointed head of the outer raceway 11 and covers a section connecting the outer raceway and a shaft 20. Side faces of the outer periphery and the inner periphery of the circular groove 36 are brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface and the inner peripheral surface of the front head of the outer raceway 11 respectively.
