PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger assuring easy securing of the place of installation, a low cost in manufacturing, and capable of air heating of a working oil and its cooling by suppressing the pressure loss increase in a cooling water passage. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger includes a heat exchange part 110 to admit flowing-through of the working oil fed from an automatic transmission 20 of an engine 10 and is structured so that heat exchange is conducted between the engine cooling water flowing on the outside of the heat exchange part 110 and the working oil, wherein the heat exchange part 110 is accommodated in a tank part 42 of a heater core 40 installed in the cooling water passage 30 in which the engine cooling water is circulated at all times.
