PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printer for a flexible substrate high in printing accuracy. SOLUTION: A back-up roll 20 is arranged along a squeegee 12 at a position holding the flexible substrate F in between a screen plate 11 and the back-up roll, and a pair of clamping mechanisms 30 clamping both ends of the flexible substrate F to be strung with a prescribed tension are arranged at both sides of the back-up roll 20 in its advancing direction. When printing, the back-up roll 20 is rotated in synchronization with the moving speed of the squeegee 12 to the sliding movement of the squeegee 12 on the screen plate 11, to be moved in the direction of the squeegee 12.
