PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight artificial marble molded object having no joint in an artificial marble part at least from appearance, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The artificial marble molded object 1 is constituted of an exterior material 3 being a molded article made of artificial marble and a core material 5 lighter than artificial marble, and the upper surface and four end surfaces of the core material 5 are covered with an exterior material 3 formed as a joint-free integrated molded product. The core material 5 is equipped with a hollow structure part 7 formed of a paper honeycomb structure and a solid structural part 9 formed of wood. The honeycomb structure forming hollow structural parts 7 has many cavities piercing in a plate thickness direction. The wood forming a solid structure part 9 is embedded in the hollow parts of the honeycomb structure forming the hollow structure part 7 and all of them are covered with corrugated cardboard from both front and rear sides.
