PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy dish washer in which dishes are surely disinfected at the time of rinsing treatment and the completion time of the rinsing treatment can be known. SOLUTION: In this dish washer, time required for a heater to warm rinsing hot water up to a setting temperature is computed as warming time if the temperature of the rinsing hot water within a rinsing hot water tank does not reach the setting temperature before rinsing treatment of the dishes is started (step 114) and a warming timer counts elapsed time after calculation of the warming time. And, after termination of the washing treatment, if the warming time has not elapsed from calculation of the warming time, the start of the rinsing treatment (a step 150) of the dishes is delayed (a step 138) based on time counting of the warming timer. At this time, remaining time up to rinsing treatment completion is computed based on the calculated warming time and the counted time of the warming timer (a step 142), and the calculated remaining time is indicated by an indicator (a step 144).
