The invention concerns a control system for static power inverters having a plurality of power components (11, 12, Im, In), comprising control modules (S1, S2, Sn) connected to the power components and in remote communication with a master processor (UC) via a real-time communication network with series communication link (1) which is a conductive bus. Each control module is subdivided into a high-level sub-module (HL1, HL2, HLn) connected to the bus and at least a low-level sub-module (LL1, LL2, LLn) connected to a power component and connected to the high-level sub-module via a communication link (3) constituting an electrical insulation barrier between the power components and between the power part and the control part.
