The laminate laying block has a hexaedral shape and can be solid in construction or with cells. The block can be made from various materials and dimensioned with regard to shape and material to withstand the stresses of hammer blows. The length and height of the block are constant while the width can vary linearly between the two ends, which means an angle of about 3 to 7 degrees between both sides. The variation affects only one side. The block has upper and lower slots on the same side which is the side opposite the bevelled side (B) which is used for hammering.
