<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and stable tilt servo device. <P>SOLUTION: The tilt is corrected by driving a liquid crystal device LCD for phase correction by drive data stored in a reference memory 19a. At the pretreatment, the tilt is corrected by making a pickup PU move to the specified position at the inner peripheral side of a disk DSC, and data De of the tilt error outputted from a tilt sensor 11 are taken as reference tilt error data, and the drive data applied for this tilt correction are taken as the reference correction amount. When the pickup PU is moved after the pretreatment, the difference between the data De of the tilt error outputted from the tilt sensor 11 at each moving position and the reference tilt error data is taken as the relative correction amount, and the drive data corresponding to this relative correction amount are acquired from the reference memory 19a, and the tilt correcting amount is obtained by adding the acquired drive data and the reference correction amount, then the liquid crystal device LCD is driven by driving signals Sc1∼Sc5 corresponding to the tilt correction amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
