<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a visually impaired person can smoothly carry out copying without any confusion. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 1, a function as a copying machine and a function to carry out printing based on an image data from personal computers 11 to 14 connected through a network 10 are provided. In the image forming apparatus 1, an operation part 2 provided with a fingerprint recognition device 8, a control part 3 carrying out control of the image forming apparatus 1 as a whole and a memory 5 provided with an operator information storing range 5a storing information of an individual concerning a specific operator such as the visually handicapped person are provided. The fingerprints of the specific operator is registered in the individual information. In the control part 3, when the fingerprint which is recognized by the fingerprint recognition device 8 is judged to match the fingerprint of the specific operator stored to the operator information storing range 5a, a preceding job is interrupted and a state in which the specific operator can use the image forming apparatus with priority is made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
