<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which avoids shortage of the memory capacity for correcting coded images even in an apparatus or system having a small mounted memory capacity. <P>SOLUTION: For correcting compressed image data (coded images ), an image correcting process is applied to expanded images in tile units. For executing e.g. a skew correction process of correcting the skew of the image, based on the compressed image data, the skew correction process of the expanded images is executed in tile units (steps S4-S7). This allows the images to be developed in tile units in a memory, thereby avoiding shortage of the memory capacity even in an apparatus or system having a small mounted memory capacity to result in that it is free from various restrictions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
