<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout creation method and a layout creation program for editing the layout of a manufacturing instruction in accordance with necessary drawings and items. <P>SOLUTION: A client terminal 30 displays a base file on a layout editing image plane. Then the client terminal 30 sets up a layout position of the item by specifying a layout position of a field on which the layout of the item is performed, by operating a mouse, and stores the same in a layout data storing part 34.
